WELCOME.

This is the official website for the Catterick Village hall, founded in 1898 as the Booth Memorial Institute, now known as Booth Hall.

A social hub. Local people of all ages use our hall’s facilities and services. Over the course of 12 months alone, we’ve hosted more than 50 different community groups: clubs, church groups, public authorities, small businesses, charities, voluntary organisations and others.

Today our annual calendar boasts a cornucopia of activities: from mother and toddler get-togethers and fitness classes to Afternoon Teas, fashion shows and village pantos as well as Jigsaw puzzle days. Our regularly scheduled lunches and afternoon teas have become known for their delicious home-made soups, scones and cakes in particular.

For everyone’s benefit. Plus, the hall has enabled running of a Nearly New shop for over 40 years, which donates most of its takings to local schools, churches, voluntary organisations and charities. We’ve even been able to install a NYCC community library on the premises.

Catterick Village folk are proud of Booth Hall. Our volunteer trustees strive continuously to improve its facilities and services, working in partnership with other vital community groups -- the local parish, district and county councils, church, sports association and police, military and education authorities -- for the benefit of all.
