EXTENSIVE RENOVATION.

In 2015 Booth Hall launched its biggest renovation programme since the late 1800s. Major structural improvements have already been completed including a new roof, solar panels, new wiring and electrics, replacement windows and new flooring for the Main Hall area. Further upgrading is ongoing with support from local people, government, other not-for-profit organisations and area business.

NYCC Outlet Community library. Visitors are only too happy to take advantage of our new Community Library along with installation of Wifi service.

Successful fundraising. Amongst those spearheading the massive fundraising efforts required to realise over £150,000 worth of structural renovations and enhancements have been the Friends of Booth Hall. They’re a group of local women who’ve banded together to work tirelessly on the ground to raise more than half that amount.

Thanks to many. The rest of the funding has come from a variety of other sources. The Trustees thank them on behalf of all who continue to benefit from Booth Hall’s ongoing use as a community hub. They include:

  • Catterick Village Parish Council

  • North Yorkshire County Council and Richmondshire District Council

  • The National Lottery

  • The Co-op

  • Others including YORVENTURE, Skipton Building Society, the Jack Brunton Trust, Hudspeths and Howdens

Stronger partnerships. The Hall is also grateful for the unflagging support of major local partners including St Anne’s Church, the Catterick Village Sports Association and The Village Pharmacy as well as many individual residents, adults and children who have donated their time and money to this monumental project.
